Camping and 6 Flags
Matts parents own a cabin at a campresort called Jellystone. It's about an hour to an hour and a half drive from here. We drove there on Tuesday. The Campground was really big and we went swimming and played basketball. We also played mini-golf. We stayed there for 2 days.
On Thursday we got up early and drove to Chicago to go to 6 Flags. A really big amusement park.
We arrived there right at the opening time and it was busy. We decided to each pitch in some money to get flash passes. It was worth it! We were able to go on every ride at least 2 times. The major rides, like the "Superman" or the "Raging-Bull" we rode 3 or 4 times. It was awesome.
I even dared to go on a Free-Fall.Tower. I've never been on one because I was scared of it all my life. It was the only thing I was nervous about. While the platform was going up a was really scared and after it dropped I was kind of glad that I was back on the ground. I'm glad I did it though.
There was the "Batman" ride, which was going backwards was really cool, too. I'm happy that Matt gave me the chance to experience an American amusement park. It was a fun week!
That was probably my last post from the US. I'm leaving in 3 days. My suitcase is packed and my package is sent. I want to write another post wehn I'm back home to explain how I have changed over the year, what I have learned and stuf like that.
