Family Camping and completing my last article

Hey,
now I'm going to write my first post in English. I have no idea if it'll end up very well, but i'll give my best. Sorry to my grandma who probalby isn't able to read it. I hope someone will translate it for her.
First I'll finish my last post. I wanted to write something about the end of Cross Country and the Start of Basketball.
On Thursday last week we - the Cross Country Team - ran in the Coulee Conference meet in Ettrick. Matt had the best race of his life, but Ben, our top runner had problems with his heel and dropped out of the race :( Matt ran under 19 minutes (5k's). And I had a pretty good race, too. I ran in 23.30 and it was my personal record. Nothing I could be a top runner with, but I was happy :D I'm kinda happy Cross Country is over now, because it was very hard and I often had to push myself to stay in the team. Well it kept me in shape for basketball. Maybe I'm in the best shape of my life right now :D
Well, now the GV team has no more races, so I can get ready for basketball. I should do something for my vertical jump now, because one of my (unrealistic) goals for the end of of my exchange year is to be able to dunk :D The first basketball game will be in November, and the training starts inoffically now. We have to get team shoes for the team; in the meeting tomorrow we'll decide which shoes we'll get.

Anyway, it's sunday evening now and we just arrived home from a family camping weekende - I'm sure everyone had a great time :)
On Saturday morning we went to a town called Balliboo (whatever..). Maybe 30 miles northern of Madison. It was a pretty long ride, but with music and a little nap it wasn't too bad ;)
Then we arrived at the campground. A nice campground with many bikes, a little lake (more a swimming pool), and some monkey bars. First I was a bit shy and didn't talk to many people there, but after a while we started to play bean bags and I started to talk to people :D I wonder why I havn't done that earlier, haha :D Everybody is sooo nice :)
In the bean bag turnament Dyland was my partner. I think we've done a pretty good job, but we dropped out after our third game. We made some pumpkins and played a guess game. Actually I won one game, so I got a jar of candy :)
After that we sat around a camp fire and we were talking. We were lucky with the weather on this day, but the next morning it was raining heavily. And it didn't stop for the rest of the time we're there. On our way home we stopped in La Crosse at the Univeristy to meet Hunter and then we brought Reggie to work.
